The 2024 Provincial Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Information Academic Annual Conference Opened Successfully!

The Second Session of the 2nd Member Congress, Academic Annual Conference, Launch Meeting of the National Research Project on Rehabilitation and Treatment for Chronic Respiratory Diseases, Training Workshop on the Standardized Construction Project for Primary-Level Departments of Respiratory Medicine and Critical Care Medicine, Training Workshop on New Advances in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Sleep-Related Breathing Disorders, along with the 2024 Primary-Level Key Work Experience Exchange Meeting and the Mobile On-Site Symposium for Mutual Learning and Observation in the Development of Clinically Distinctive Specialties, were successfully held in Suining, hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Information and organized by the County-Level Hospital Development Branch, the Primary Healthcare Branch, the Respiratory Specialty Committee of the Suining Medical Association, and the Third People’s Hospital of Suining.

Academicians and industry leaders will deliver lectures on new theories, new knowledge, and new technologies; recognize outstanding management professionals and medical practitioners selected by the society; discuss key priorities for 2024 (including the development of county-level medical consortia, setting ambitious goals for primary healthcare after achieving recommended standards for high-quality services, and promoting the integration of medical care and disease prevention); facilitate exchanges of best practices among outstanding management professionals; conduct on-site visits and inspections to explore the development of specialized departments, engaging in in-depth listening, observation, interviews, and learning to help elevate and upgrade specialty care at the grassroots level, build strong brands, and drive high‑quality development within institutions; and host specialized academic lectures, experience-sharing sessions, and case studies on topics such as standardized management of primary care respiratory departments, rehabilitation treatment for chronic respiratory diseases at the primary care level, and recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep‑related breathing disorders.

Leaders in charge at the county (city, district) health and wellness bureaus; leaders of township (center) health centers engaged in developing specialized departments; leaders and specialized departments of community health service centers; outstanding management professionals and medical staff recognized by professional associations; grassroots health branch units and individual members, director units, standing director units, chairpersons, vice chairpersons, and other key officials; leaders and medical staff of county-level hospitals responsible for intensive care units, respiratory departments, sleep clinics, and related specialties; leaders and medical personnel of psychiatric specialty hospitals; leaders of municipal and county health associations (and academic societies); and evaluation experts involved in quality service initiatives at the grassroots level at or above the municipal level.
